Have you ever heard a message and later on you tie it to another message?! Well the past few weeks that keep happening to me.
One that stood out the most is my pastors sermon “The Best is Yet to Come” and a picture I saw on both Facebook AND Instagram. (They say good things come in threes.)
But anyway…..
Basically, my pastor said no matter what you are going through (right now) is not your destiny. It’s merely a pit stop on your journey. This is a test that will be your testimony and your mess will eventually be a message. We hear that all the time but the proof is in the pudding. The following verses prove this (I’ve attached the pictures of the verses):
Hebrews 11:1
Isaiah 41:13
James 1:2-3
James 1:12
Philippians 4:6
So, my pastor encouraged each of us to find something to motivate ourselves as a reminder that “the best is yet to come” and to keep pressing forward.
Which led me to the picture….
Not trying to be dramatic but I saw the picture twice and it was so powerful. Now I don’t know about you but I’m a firm believer that God gives us what we need when we need it. Often times we see a post and press “like” before even REALLY PROCESS what it means/stand for. But this picture I saved to my phone and went back to it a couple of times before I finally put it all together. It was very encouraging and contained three main points:
–keep trying = never give up
–Keep praying = trust in God
–Stay positive = you are your thoughts
And the picture says by doing these you will essentially become BETTER. I mean that is everyone’s ultimate goal right?! So let’s give it a a try if you aren’t already.
My gift to you, a little motivation for you(the picture). Save it, repost it(with the link to the blog), and implement it to your daily lives.
I’ve already done so by saving it in my phone, writing it down, and posting it on my bathroom mirror. 😉
Thanks for reading! I pray this helps you! Be blessed!!!
Peace. Love. Ash. <3
